Social and pedagogical boarding school „St Climent Ohridski“, village of Lik

Located in the municipality of Mezdra, administrative region Vratsa. We are a state school, directly subordinated to the Ministry of education, science and culture – Sofia.

Our children are from 1st to the 8th grade, 56 boys and girls between 7 and 16 years old.

All year round the boarding school shelters children of parents with criminal demeanour and mental problems, without parents, homeless or with parents who are not willing to take care of them. These are children with behavioural challenges, with difficult and joyless destinies.

„The ambition of the school staff, and mine personally is to create the best possible living conditions for the children. We feed them, dress them and cure them – we are their family. The good living conditions and cosiness, similar to what one has at home, are very important to us – a part of the overall upbringing process“ – Temenuzhka Simeonova – headmistress.
